Polychrome painted, decorated in gold. Cup (h 7 cm), original saucer (Ø 15 cm).
Footed bell-shaped cup with rocaille handle and rocaille rim. On the front a gold-framed rectangular cartouche with a view of the city of Jena, in the mirror of the saucer the dedication "G. Kirsten s/m l. A. Sauerteig z. fr. Er., Jena 1860". Minimal gold abrasion, hairline crack in the handle, view in the foreground somewhat rubbed.
