Baroque wall clock with calendar.
18th century/circa 1910.
Supplemented Lenzkirch movement (movement no. 1 million 212960) with top balance and cylinder escapement, keywind. Short running, in need of revision.
Ca. 46 x 35 x 7 cm. 2.2 kg.
Curved and relief-cut front with numerous floral decorative elements, in the pediment the motif of a seated gardener under a pergola, lower cartouche with a park view with fountain. Central copper dial with Roman numerals, minute ring and iron hands, the center of the dial with weekday display and engraving of a city view with shore and boat, outer ring with month names, date and engraved zodiac sign motifs as well as "day-long" display. Signs of age and wear, rubbing, partial defects.
