Gold cross with enamel applications.
Unstamped. 2nd half 19th century
Red gold (585 tested), hollow-worked, not filled, partly gilded with yellow gold, enamel painting decorated with gold. 9.5 x 7.5 x 1 cm (without eyelet). Total weight 59 g.
Cross pendant worked in steps on both sides with a mounted Corpus Christi in the front as well as quatrefoils mounted at the ends of the cross, which are decorated with finely painted enamel plaques on both sides. In front God the Father, Mary, John and Mary Magdalene, on the back the four beings as evangelist symbols. Central engraving on the back "In hoc signo vinces". Small break at the lower quatrefoil edge.
