"Goat with Faunboy"
Bronze with dark brown patina. Inscribed, foundry mark "Guss: A. Milde u. Co Dresden", in the plinth exhibition label "Große Berliner Kunstausstellung 1909" with no. 2392 and 899 as well as artist's name and title. 31.5 x 38.5 x 19 cm. 8.3 kg.
Rapid young faun riding on the goat with buck legs, holding on to the long horns. Drill holes and minor scratches to the plinth front from removed plaque, otherwise minimal patina wear.
Sculptor in Dresden and Meissen, studied in Dresden and Berlin, also active in Blasewitz and Striesen.
