Also called the Zürcher Bible. Extensive fragment, lavishly illustrated with woodcuts, with page numbering in mixed numbers. First line: "Das dritt buch Mose" from page 58 complete (only page 64 missing) to "Das dritt buch Machaberum Blatt 334. Part 2: title page "Das ander teil des alten Testaments, mit sampt dem Neuwen" (original title page mounted and loose, colored red, with missing parts). Complete up to page 297 ("Die erst Epistel Sant Peters"), of which the last pages are damaged to varying degrees. Leaves 334 and 335 still present separately, up to leaf 315 missing. Block binding loosely present. Newly supplemented leather binding serves as cover for the original block. Significant signs of age and wear.
