Large lidded goblet and 2 beer steins Historism. WMF.
"WMF" or beehive mark, large tankard unmarked. Late 19th century
Tin, Britannia metal, brass, each silver-plated, partly gilded. H 45 / 25 / 16 cm.
Vessels in rich relief in the Baroque and Renaissance styles. The lidded goblet with inscriptions in cartouches relating to battles in the Franco-Prussian War; engraved on the lip: "Dedicated to the brave warrior A. Berchtold in memory of 1870/71 v./s. Sister B. Seitz-Berchtold". Cup: Screw connection of the bust knob renewed, solder repair in the foot, heavily rubbed. Otherwise minimal signs of age/use.
