Marked "Lille 1767". 2nd half 18th century
Fayence glazed white and painted in color, silver-plated brass mount. 4.5 x 15 x 9 cm.
Fitted, curved box with recessed wall. The hinged lid framed by flowers and rocailles depicting a peasant woman with cows by the river. The wall painted all around with landscapes, birds and garlands. 1 minimal hairline crack (probably only in the glaze) on the back wall.
