Rare monthly runner. Watch factory Ebensee Arthur Junghans.

"Junghans" marked movement with patented 31-day scale by the Resch brothers, Ebensee. Runs short, revision recommended. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, minute ring and pierced hands.
Walnut and beech, stained dark. Approx. 123 x 43 x 18 cm.
Pendulum clock with case glazed on 3 sides and floral top, lateral half columns with ionic capitals and fluting, diamond ashlar and turned decoration, attached tenon as console finial. Slight signs of age and use, partially old cracks, some traces of soldering.
With 1 weight and pendulum, without crank. The first Viennese pendulum clock factory Gebrüder Resch was founded in 1862 by the court jeweler Lorentz Resch in Vienna. Another factory was opened in Ebensee in 1871 and quickly became one of the most important clock manufacturers in Austria-Hungary. The factory in Vienna was closed in 1883. In 1901, the Gebrüder Resch pendulum clock factory in Ebensee was sold to Gebrüder Junghans AG. The "Uhrenfabrik Ebensee Arthur Junghans, Commerzienrath" was closed in 1920.
