Shape model by Johann Carl Schönheit, model year: 1781 (shape), pâte-sur-pâte decoration around 1900. Blue ground, rare colorful floral Art Nouveau mass painting, gold outlined, gold staffage. Frontal "Triton with child" in large oval reserve. Mounted round base over a square plinth. Incised mark, impressed mark, sword mark. Lid slightly bumped at the bottom, restored rim at the bottom of the mount.
* Schönheit, modeller, 1745-1794 at the Meissen manufactory. Employee of Johann Joachim Kaendler and Michel Victor Acier, designed his own models from 1765, retired in 1794. All lots with a limit (starting price) of at least €1,500 are checked against the Art Loss Register database.
