Late Biedermeier mantelpiece with embroidered parrot picture.
2nd half 19th century
Mahogany, solid and veneered. Total approx. 132 x 72.5 cm.
Glazed and slightly profiled rectangular frame on a turned shaft and 3 curved feet. Colored embroidery design with flower branches and 2 parrot birds. Verso with light blue silk fabric covering. Slight veneer defects and cracks, restored with additions.
