Blue brush mark J.V. 2nd half 19th century
Glazed in paste blue, painted in cobalt blue. H 25.5 cm.
Bellied body with quatrefoil neck and mouth, twisted handle, on a flat round foot. Painted all around with a Baroque couple in a landscape with architecture and sailing boats. Pewter mount with shell pusher. Restored to the neck, mouth, lid and base.
