Late 19th century Movement No. 39951.
Unmarked movement with quarter hour strike on 2 gongs. Function not tested. Florally engraved, partly silver-plated dial with arcade minute scale and Arabic numerals, pierced hands.
Walnut and beech, solid and veneered, stained walnut. Approx. 134 x 46.5 x 20 cm. Case 9 kg, weights 5 kg.
Glazed wall clock case on 3 sides with arched gable and 3 turned knobs, composite half-columns on the sides with fluting, carved foliage and pedestal, bracket finial with egg-and-dart finial and turned knobs. Slight signs of age and use, scratches, small defects to the veneer, traces of soldering.
With crank, pendulum and 3 weights with floral engravings.
