Viennese Art Nouveau lamp base with girl figure and Art Nouveau glass shade by Loetz Witwe, Klostermühle. Vienna enamel paint factory Schauer & Co.
Blue stamp mark, ca. 1900 to before 1927, with the addition "Deposé". Around 1900/1910, signed "Podany" on the base. Model no. 9943 963 [?]. Design: Rudolf PODANY (1876-1963).
Faience, subtly colored matt and glossy decoration. Lamp base H 89 cm, shade H 24.5 cm.
Standing girl decorated with flowers as a canephore, on a stepped rectangular base. Old electrified with defective cable without switch and plug, bayonet socket with light bulb. Comes with a matching, spherical lampshade made of clear, iridescent glass with an opal glass inner rim, green crumb fusions and jagged ruby-red fused threads. Chips and glass chips to the base, edge chips to the glass shade.
