French mantel clock with star ball and putti. AD. Mougin, Paris.

Marked movement with half hour strike on bell, dealer's mark "H & F Paris". Does not run. Applied Roman numerals, hour and minute hands as a dragon lizard, painted over indistinct inscription.
Bronze, partly black patinated, white marble. Clock h 33.5 cm, base h 5 cm.
Historicist table clock with a star-set spherical case with 2 sculptural putti, one of which is a putto measuring with a compass, on a rocaille base. With a separate rocaille cast yellow base. Partial small edge defects to the stone, pendulum soldered.
With bronze base, key and pendulum.
