Artist's signet, foundry mark: Siot Decauville Fondeur Paris, numbered: J 144. electrified, two light sources. Loïe Fuller, alias Marie Louise Fuller (1862-1928) was the first dancer to use electric light for her serpentine dances. Partially with slight wear.
* Larche, sculptor and painter, studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. 1884-1911 regularly represented at the Salon des Artistes Francais, member of the jury of the Ecole des Beaux Arts de Paris and the Salon des Artistes Francais, 1910 Officer of the Legion of Honor, received a number of official commissions. "La Lampe Loie Fuller" achieved worldwide fame; the lamp is available in three variations, modified in terms of the dancer's veil and expression, and in different sizes.
