Bronze, brown patina. Height: 39 cm. 2.3 kg.
Artist's signet, old electrified, one light source. For the figure, the artist, like so many other sculptors, was inspired by the dancer Loïe Fuller, alias Marie Louise Fuller (1862-1928), who was the first dancer to use electric light in her serpentine dances. Patina partially oxidized.
* Fernand Ouillon-Carrére, French sculptor and draughtsman, older brother of René Ouillon-Carrére (1879 Paris - 1959 Paris), son of Marguerite Carrére, who married the Parisian jeweler Emile Ouillon in her second marriage, Fernand was demonstrably represented at the Paris Salon in 1919, more detailed life data unknown.
