* Scherf (1875-1909), originally employed by "Orivit" in Cologne, founded his own factory in Nuremberg in 1899, represented at international exhibitions since 1902, 1906 transformation of the company into "Isis"-Werke GmbH, 1909 AG, closed in 1913. * Adler (1878-1933), sculptor, architect, designer, studied at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Munich. 1903-1906 taught in Munich, 1907-1933 at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Hamburg, 1910-1913 head of the master class at the Gewerbemuseum in Nuremberg.
