Daphne is a nymph from Greek mythology who is pursued by Apollo and turns into a laurel tree. White porcelain, pressed marks, blue sceptre mark, black war mark. 4 fingertips of one hand chipped, visibly repaired.
* Scheurich, graphic artist, painter and sculptor, studied at the academy in Berlin, from 1912 first works for Meissen, the Schwarzburger Werkstätten, KPM Berlin and Nymphenburg.
