Two bookends
Bronze, various brown patinas. 15 x 16.5 x 17 cm. 5.1 kg.
Soldered back panels, one bookend with artist's signet and numbered adhesive label: Mod. 530, one bookend with stamped numbering: inside 505, outside on the base 530.
* Gurschner, sculptor, medallist and craftsman, studied at the School of Applied Arts in Vienna, pupil of Otto König. Artistic director of the Kunst-Erzgießerei in Vienna for four years, co-founder of the Vienna Secession and the Hagenbund, member of the Genossenschaft bildender Künstler Wien.
