Bronze, partially dark patinated. Height: 25.5 cm. 6,8 kg.
Artist's signet on the reverse, numbered: 502/145. Modelled in detail with wavy, curly hair, the oval bowl with ornamental border. Patina partially stained.
* Gurschner, sculptor, medallist and applied artist, studied at the Vienna School of Applied Arts, pupil of Otto König. Artistic director of the Kunst-Erzgießerei in Vienna for four years, co-founder of the Vienna Secession and the Hagenbund, member of the Genossenschaft bildender Künstler Wien.
