Bust of a girl: Carmela
Bronze, dark patina. Height: 40 cm. 6.3 kg.
Inscribed on the front, artist's signet on the side, foundry mark: Société des Bronzes de Paris, numbered: E 935. The bust was temporarily placed in a shed, original patina obviously oxidized due to weathering.
* Villanis (Villani), French sculptor of Italian origin, studied at the Accademia Albertina dei Belle Arti in Turin, regularly represented at the Paris Salons since 1886, created around 500 models: figures, busts, vessels and plaques.
