Bronze, dark patina. Height: 48 cm. 11.5 kg.
Inscribed on the front, artist's signet on the side, foundry mark: Bronze Garantie au Titre L.V. Deposee, numbered: A 5850. The bust was temporarily placed in a coach house, original patina obviously oxidized due to weathering.
* Villanis (Villani), French sculptor of Italian origin, studied at the Accademia Albertina die Belle Arti in Turin, regularly represented at the Paris Salons since 1886, created around 500 models: figures, busts, vessels and plaques.
