17th/18th c.
Wrought iron, à-jour chased copper plate with engraving, oak board. Total with board 59 x 58 x 15 cm, L lock 37 cm (without latches), backset 15 cm.
3-pass lock with ornamentally engraved and cut out base plate with forend present. On the lock top copper pick with chased and engraved leaf tendril. Lever handle with iron-cut volute for the middle latch, afterbolt for the lower latch and lever (guard or drain bolt?) for the upper latch and octagonal chapel with knob. Copper plate partly cracked, signs of age/use, restored.
