Portrait of a small child against a dark background. Comes with a portfolio of 18 different sketches of people and faces in different sizes. Minimal signs of age; creases and tears in the pencil sketches.
Painter in Leipzig and Saaleck, student and later teacher at the painting school of Prof. Schultze-Naumburg in Saaleck, from 1921 head of the landscape class in Weimar as successor to Theodor Hagen.
