Large Biedermeier stately clock.
Probably Denmark, circa 1830.
Brass full plate movement with half hour strike on bell, inner repeater train, running, in need of revision. Large white enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes, minute crown and lyre hands.
Mahogany, solid and veneered, dark stained, wood carved and gilded. 52,5 x 40,5 x 17 cm.
Round arched case with scale-like openwork front and sides, red cloth back. Signs of age and use, partial defects and missing parts, additions.
With pendulum, key.
