Partially gilded, solidly worked. Decorated with shell rocailles and floral branches, engraved crowned monogram L. 14 pieces: Plate, drinking cup, egg cup, salt bowl, sauce boat, sugar bowl, cutlery: knife, fork, tablespoon, coffee spoon, ice spoon, salt spoon, butter cheese knife with gilded silver blade, 1 serving fork. Hallmarks: Factory mark JCK, Diana head with fineness and Bach letter A for Vienna, double eagle. Original precious wood case with side handles, lock, key and two drop bolts. On the box embedded engraved silver plaque: Seinem lieben Patenkind von Max Egon zu Fürstenberg. Tines of the serving fork Wilkens und Söhne, Hemelingen.
Max Egon II zu Fürstenberg, 1863 Lány - 1941 Castle Heiligenberg, German-Austrian politician, landowner, patron, close confidant of Emperor Wilhelm II, member of the Austrian and Prussian House of Lords.
