2 large baroque putti
Wood polychrome painted and gilded. 18th c. H 76 and 74 cm respectively. Together 11,8 kg.
By the same hand created, fully plastic putti in moving gestures and with poignant mines, where the fluttering hip scarves and voluminous hair further enhance the expression. Missing parts mostly supplemented (fingers, parts of a forearm, parts of a plinth), dry cracks, signs of age / use.
