The lusty forest god has sought an undisturbed spot away from the raging crowd with his chosen one. The pair combines the heroic Nachkheit, represented by the nymph, and the opposite wild, animalistic, Dionysian nakedness, which embodies the faun. Profiled frame. Doubled.
Frey-Moock, landscape, portrait and history painter, studied at the Gewerbeschule in Sankt Gallen and at the Academy in Munich. Student of Karl Raupp and Wilhelm von Diez.
