Marked, mount, as new glazed frame. Partially wavy, a small corner torn at the top edge, a tear each at the top and side of the edge.
Hofmann, painter, graphic artist, draftsman, illustrator and craftsman. Studied at the academies in Dresden and Karlsruhe. Pupil of Ferdinand Keller. From 1890 worked as a freelance artist in Berlin. 1894-1900 mostly resident in Rome. Member of the Berlin Secession. 1903 Professor at the Academy in Weimar, 1916-1931 at the Academy in Dresden * Partner auction Bergmann.
