Saxon infantry officer's sword - "Schießprämiendegen 1906".
Blade marked: "Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Co., Solingen".
Blade L 78.5 cm, total L 95 cm.
Straight, single-edged blade with pommel, richly decorated and remnants of gilding. Crowned monogram "AR" and inscriptions: "Als bestem Schützen 1906"; "Dem Leutnant von Linsingen des Königlich Sächsischen Schützen-(Füsilier-) Regiments "Prinz Georg" No. 108". Bronze hilt with Saxon coat of arms on the openwork guard plate. Checkered grip with wire winding and attached guard star. Angled pommel with seal coat of arms. Widened cartouche with the monogram "JAR"(?) on the grip frame. Comes with a lanyard. Metal scabbard with a suspension ring and eyelet.
