Biedermeier pillar mirror frame with antique figural scene.
Around 1815/20. Thuringia.
Cherry, veneered, partly ebonized. Approx. 128 x 55.5 cm.
High rectangular frame with profiled upper and lower ends, central panel with crossbars. In the upper segment a gilded, classicist stucco relief with a Bacchante scene, in the lower segment an old mirror glass, in the middle without mirror filling. Traces of age, plaster relief glued, hairline cracks partly retouched, partial defects.
