Large Art Nouveau dinner service. KPM Berlin.

Model year: 1912. The "Ceres" model was created for the 150th anniversary of the manufactory in 1913. 35 pieces: 1 tureen, 2 large round platters, 1 fish platter, 1 dinner platter, 1 lidded sauce boat, 2 square bowls, 2 spice bowls, 1 serving dish, 6 dinner plates, 6 soup plates, 6 large dessert plates, 6 small dessert plates. Relief decoration with fountain pens and wreath, painted in gold. Press marks, painter's marks, green artist's signet, blue sceptre marks, red imperial orb marks, black war marks. One stand ring slightly bumped.
Schmuz-Baudiss: painter and ceramicist, studied at the academy in Munich. Appointed to the KPM Berlin in 1901, 1908-1925 its director, 1904 titular professor * Partner auction Bergmann.
