Rich ornamental decoration in relief gold over colored fond reserves in the old Viennese style. In the mirror fine colored painting "Flowers painted by Verelst" after a painting by Angelika Kauffmann (1741 Chur - 1807 Rome). Pseudo-bandage mark. Stand ring minimally bumped, gold partially rubbed.
Simon Pietersz Verelst (1644-around 1721) was a Dutch painter of the Golden Age, famous for his outstanding floral still lifes * Partnerauktion Bergmann.
