1st half of the 20th century Yürük (mountain nomads), Anatolia.
Wool, hand-knotted. Strong coloration with predominantly red, orange, violet and green. Approx. 136 x 92 cm.
Mihrab with a stepped and diamond-shaped pediment, hooked ornaments and stylized rosettes. Signs of age and wear, some defects in the pile and at the ends, partially faded colours, restored with additions.
