French lyre pendulum.
2nd half 19th century
Unmarked movement with half hour strike on bell, pendulum with thread suspension. Runs. Bronze dial with rose lunette and a putti relief in the center of the dial, Roman numerals, minute track and Breguet hands.
Mahogany, fire-gilt bronze. H 55 cm. 4 kg.
Neoclassical clock in lyre form on a rectangular base, with floral fittings and a crowning fruit basket with flanking swans, stamped "Marchais Cie" on the back. Slight signs of age, partially cracked and rubbed.
With pendulum and key.
