Convolute folk art.
1st half 19th century
Maple turned and dark stained, leather and cardboard, beaded embroidery or straw marquetry or bone with turquoise. H barrels about 8 cm, book 16.5 x 13 cm.
3 turned match barrels with ornamental appliques, 2 cigar cases with "straw inlays": floral bouquet and monogram "AR" and flowers and soldier with monogram "KH" respectively. Book portfolio on both sides with ornamental bead embroidery; inside an empty book and 1 apprenticeship contract(?) of 1821 with Prussian watermark (FWR) and postmark "4 Gut.Gr.". Partly strong signs of age / use and missing.
