In four passively curved reserves fine colored painting. Various landscapes with architecture, tents and rich figure staffage. Sword mark. Bud restored.
The suggestion to provide porcelain vessels with a colored background comes from Chinese porcelain. Around 1725, Hoeroldt introduced this decor to Meissen, providing both individual vessels and entire services with luminous or matte backgrounds in yellow, blue, violet, purple, red, green and turquoise.
